Poster Exhibition and Data Blitz
Poster Exhibition - #ABC2019
There will no poster session at #Marr 2019. We encourage delegates to attend both meetings and present a poster at #ABC2019.
- The Poster Exhibition will take place on the 12-13th September 2019 during refreshment breaks
- There will be two generous prizes (£250 per prize)
- Please note that poster boards will be 1 metre (w) by 2 metres (h). The optimum size for posters is A0 portrait (i.e. 841mm (w) x 1189mm (h)). If your poster is already printed and does not fit these requirements, please contact Dervila Glynn.
- Deadline for Abstract submission is August 16th 2019
- Velcro will be provided at #ABC2019
- Presenters will be notified of their poster number in advance of #ABC2019
- Poster judges will be circulating during the refreshment
Data Blitz on Thursday 12th September 2019 - #ABC2019
- There will be a Data Blitz for early career researchers held during the main programme
- Abstracts will be selected from submitted poster abstracts
- Deadline for Abstract submission is August 16th 2019
- Presenters will be notified of selection by August 23rd to ensure adequate preparation time
- Presenters will be allowed to speak for a maximum of 3 minutes
- A PowerPoint template will be provided
- Presentations must be submitted in advance of #ABC 2019 (by September 6th 2019)
- Data Blitz presenters will still be expected to present a poster
General
- To be considered for the Poster Exhibition and Data Blitz, you must register to submit an abstract on the web system (you cannot submit an abstract using the online payment system)
- Abstracts sent by email will not be accepted
