About CamBRAIN

CamBRAIN, or the Cambridge University Neuroscience Society, is dedicated to bringing together student and early careers researchers with an interest in neuroscience across the university.

Our committee of postgrad/postdoc scientists works closely with Cambridge Neuroscience, the Interdisciplinary Research Centre, to bring social and skills-building events to the community.

Our flagship event is Neurotalks, a monthly pub talk series which runs throughout the academic year to spotlight the research of our community in a much more informal environment than academic talks. This also constitutes our regular social and is the perfect place to get to know fellow neuroscientists over some beers! Many people come alone and join a big table, and you soon get to know the regular faces.

Besides this, we host information evenings about applications and careers; topical panel debates; outreach events at local festivals; quiz nights; exchanges with other universities, and more.

To stay up to date with our activities, join the mailing list here and follow us on Twitter and Instagram @cambraincns.

We hope to see you at an event soon!
