Applications are invited for an Assistant/Associate Professorship (University Lecturer/Senior Lecturer) in the field of Neural Degeneration/Regeneration to be held in the Department of Physiology Development and Neuroscience. We are searching for a talented individual with a track record in research and commitment to teaching. The post is available from 1st October 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter. The department offers a world class research and teaching environment with an emphasis on exploring structure-function relationships at different levels of organisation, from tissues and organs to the organismal (https://www.pdn.cam.ac.uk/research). We welcome applications from those using in vivo and/or emerging model systems to investigate mechanisms underlying neural degeneration and/or regeneration, especially those interconnected with developmental processes.
