We are thrilled to announce the list of external speakers of our 1st Cambridge Psychedelic Research Day, taking place on 12th March 2025 at the historic Clare College, University of Cambridge.

What to expect?

This groundbreaking event will showcase cutting-edge developments in psychedelic science, featuring leading national experts in the field, thought-provoking discussions, and offer a platform for networking. Attendees can expect a full day of engaging talks and panel discussions. Researchers will share their latest findings on how psychedelics and empathogens may offer new treatments for mental health conditions.

The event will start at 9:15am, we will have a series of talks and panel discussions focusing on the therapeutical potential and latest updates on Psychedelic research.

Lunch, coffee and refreshments will be provided. We will finish the event at 5pm, and then you will be invited to join us at a wine reception.

This is an invaluable opportunity to connect with a multidisciplinary community united by a shared interest in the potential of psychedelics to reshape mental health care and scientific exploration.

Who are we?

The Cambridge Psychedelic Research group (pictured below), led by Dr Liliana Galindo, is a multidisciplinary group composed by Clinical Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Pharmacologist, Nurses and Clinical Researchers, from Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridge University Hospital and University of Cambridge, bringing together a wealth of knowledge and experience. As a group, they focus on the study of the therapeutical potential of psychedelics and empathogens to treat mental health conditions. Their primary goal is to increase the access to innovative research treatments for people who are suffering mental health conditions resistant to treatments (including PTSD, Depression, and General Anxiety Disorder).
