    Research Associate

I investigate the brain dynamics of several ?internally generated? conscious phenomena such as perceptual ambiguity, mental imagery, learning during sleep, hypnotic hallucinations, visceral consciousness, and the brain dynamics of vegetative patients during the process of losing and recovering consciousness. The research in our lab is highly collaborative and interdisciplinary, currently involving collaborations with European and US laboratories regarding the study of consciousness, and South American labs pertaining to the neurocognitive effects of poverty and social vulnerability.
