I am interested in the molecular mechanism of neurodegenerative disorder namely Parkinson's. Aggregation of a presynaptic protein alpha-synuclein is implicated in the pathogenesis of the disease. We are trying to understand the role of synuclein at the synapse under the lens of liquid-liquid phase separation.
