    Interests

My research is focused on conducting a comprehensive characterisation of the innate immune system across different stages of Parkinson's disease and in novel peripheral samples through immunophenotyping. The goal is to identify disease-relevant immune markers in easily-accessible samples, and to guide the development of new therapies targeting the immune system. Furthermore, I am also interested in investigating the potential infiltration of innate immune cells into the brain by carrying out immunofluorescence staining on post-mortem brain tissue.
