    University Position
    Senior Research Associate

I have two major research interests. One is arterial stiffness, and in particular, the role of the vascular endothelium in the regulation of arterial stiffness. The other is discovering more about the mechanisms leading to the development of hypertension in young adults. Over the last three years I have set-up and run the ENIGMA Study, designed to investigate the prevalence and mechanisms of isolated systolic hypertension in over 2,000 young adults.
