My research centres around advancing our understanding of the computational role of neuromodulators (in particular serotonin) in belief updating. This research has potential implications for our understanding of the computational mechanisms involved in encoding maladaptive beliefs in those with psychiatric disorders, as well as how such disorders are improved by antidepressants. Broader research interests include: neuromodulator function, individual differences, computational psychiatry, personality, psychiatric nosology and psychopharmacology.
