Can neuroimaging improve patient outcomes? We are looking at ways neuroimaging - the combination of brain imaging and computational methodologies - can have a direct impact on the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of developmental conditions, cognitive consequences of therapy, and mental ill-health. We are looking for scientists and clinicians with a technical interest who want to make these advanced technologies work for patients in these areas: Head injury and concussion Brain tumours Autism and other developmental disorders Schizophrenia, hallucinations Depression and other affective disorders Machine Learning and statistical inference We have programmes of applied neuroimaging studies to better understand the neurobiology of mental health disorders, treatment efficacy, and the cognitive effects of injury and neurosurgery.
