    Interests

I am a Research Associate in the Mental Health Neuroscience Lab (PI: Dr Camilla Nord) at the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit. Here, I work on a Wellcome-funded project investigating how the perception of bodily signals (interoception) differs in mental health conditions, with a view to developing a range of interoception-based interventions. Prior to this, I completed a BA in Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford, and an MSc and PhD in Psychology at the University of Birmingham (PI: Prof Jennifer Cook). My PhD work focused on movement, social cognition and interoception in clinical conditions (e.g., Parkinson’s Disease, Autism). I am a co-founder of the U21 Autism Research Network (https://www.u21autismresearchnetwork.co.uk), an international network of eight autism research groups aimed at establishing better informed, more inclusive autism research.
