    Dr Mary-Ellen Lynall is pleased to consider applications from prospective PhD students.

    Interests

    I am a psychiatrist investigating the immunology of psychiatric disorders. My research aims to develop a cell-subset specific biomarker of inflammation in depression and psychosis, with a larger effect-size than current whole-blood markers, using immunogenetics, immunophenotyping, and cellular omics. One focus of this work is using single cell technologies in blood samples from patient groups. The ultimate goal is to develop biomarker-stratified treatment strategies and new treatment approaches for patients with psychiatric symptoms. CONACYT scholars encouraged
