Interests

My research interests revolve around variability within individuals in their behaviour and their neural states. I examine the reliability of intra-individual variability over time and contexts (i.e., its potential as biomarker), its dynamics over time, and its manifestation between individuals (i.e., individual differences). In my current research project, I am focusing on synaptic health. Specifically, I combine PET, MEG, and neurophysiological data to investigate the relationship between synaptic health and the progression of dementia, the change in synaptic health over time, and its relationship to other measures of brain functioning.
