I am interested in studying the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying neurons, both during healthy and pathological function. I am also particularly interested in studying these mechanisms through the use of iPSC/organoid models. Also interest in the computational element of neuroscience. Previous experience analysing changes in protein (Western blots and IHC) and lipid expression in primary sensory neurons, and analysing changes in mouse brain activity in different regions through IHC and the optimisation/development of a MATLAB algorithm to analyse coexpression changes.
