I am investigating the mechanisms that underly TLR4- and TLR2-mediated inflammation in chronic states, such as that in neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. Outside of my PhD, I lead the Black Women in Science (BWiS) Network and serve as an Advisor for Women in Neuroscience UK.
