Interests

My research examines how prior knowledge affects learning of novel information. I use behavioural and neuroimaging methods (fMRI) to examine how violations of predictions can lead to improved or biased memory for naturalistic (e.g., videos) events. I am also interested in how age affects memory and what life-style factors are associated with healthy aging.
