    Mr Richard Dear

    University Position
    PhD student

    Interests

I am a final year PhD student at the Brain Mapping Unit supervised by Petra Vertes and Ed Bullmore. My research uses gene expression data from human brains in combination with neuroimaging and genetics to identify transdiagnostic mechanisms that may underpin mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, depression, and PTSD.

    Key Publications

Cortical gene expression architecture links healthy neurodevelopment to the imaging, transcriptomics and genetics of autism and schizophrenia.
