    Ms Ramya Warrier

    (she/her/hers)
    University Position
    PhD student

    Interests

Ramya is a PhD researcher supervised by Prof. Simon Baron-Cohen, Dr. Richard Bethlehem, and Dr. Carrie Allison, and her work is funded by Trinity College, Cambridge. Her research aims to link the brain, cognition, and behavior in autism. Systemizing is the ability to identify patterns and understand system rules, whether mechanical, mathematical, or abstract. In autism, these abilities are often heightened, leading to strengths in tasks involving structure and logic. Ramya’s research investigates the neural basis of systemizing using advanced neuroimaging techniques and behavioral tasks. Her work could improve our understanding of cognition in autism and inform interventions and support strategies- enhancing the quality of life for autistic individuals.
