I am interested in the pathology of psychiatric disorders beyond the brain, specifically how the sensation of internal bodily stimuli is altered in patients. Besides the general pathway, I also look at how interoceptive signaling connects with higher cardiovascular risk among psychiatric patients in their elder age.
