I am a PhD student at the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit. I am interested in speech perception, how listeners map spoken language onto representations of meaning/semantics, the role of contextual information in word recognition and sentence comprehension, and the involvement of predictive processing in cognition. My multi-method and interdisciplinary approach involves MEG/EEG, MRI, and web-based behavioural studies. In particular, I am interested in evolving methods and applications in neuroscience, as well as promoting open science practices. I am supervised by Dr Matt Davis (MRC CBU) and Dr Lucy MacGregor (MRC CBU). My MSc work was supervised by Dr Mante Nieuwland (MPI for Psycholinguistics).
