Diagnosis of sexual dysfunction: Relationships between dsm-iii(r) and the griss
Abstract:
The diagnostic categories for sexual dysfunction provided by the revised third edition of the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IIIR) are compared with those of the Golombok Rust Inventory of Sexual Satisfaction (GRISS) and the Golombok Rust Inventory of Marital State (GRIMS). Similarities and differences are considered. It is concluded that the psychometric profile provided by the GRISS is more appropriate for judging severity of symptoms. © 1988, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
