If you are unhappy with the experience you have received from a University department, faculty, service or staff member, the University has a Student Complaint Procedure for you to use in order to try and resolve the situation. All complaints are treated seriously and are handled sensitively.
Members of staff who believe that they have been discriminated against may make a complaint via the University’s grievance procedures in connection with their terms and conditions of employment.
Staff should also familiarise themselves with the principles set out in the University’s Statement on Freedom of Speech, which sets out the University’s commitment to freedom of thought and expression.
