Equipment & Techniques
Originally from Toronto (Canada), I am a neuroscientist at Cambridge (UK) working on building a life in academic medicine. My scientific work intersects at functional neurosurgery, behavioural neuroscience, and brain mapping with a special focus on the frontal lobes and thalami. Specifically, I am currently working on mapping brain networks governing complex functions such as sadness, pain, and attention. Through minimally-invasive surgical techniques, I hope these maps will help alleviate suffering in individuals living with neurological and psychiatric illnesses.
