My interest is cellular and synaptic neurophysiology and pharmacology in the mammalian brain, and how they contribute to behaviour and neuronal plasticity. I currently work on kisspeptin neurons (in collaboration with Professor Bill Colledge ), involved in sexual and reproductive behaviour, and amygdala neurons (in collaboration with prof David Belin), which are important in plasticity mechanisms in models of substance abuse disorders. I have a long-standing interest in dopaminergic neurons.
