    Dr Sophie Richter

    (she/her/hers)
    University Position
    Clinical Lecturer
Dr Sophie Richter is pleased to consider applications from prospective PhD students.

    Interests

Sophie is an NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Emergency Medicine. Her research focuses on the development of decision tools for the prognosis and management of traumatic brain injury in the emergency setting. Her previous research has concentrated on using circulating blood biomarkers and advanced imaging techniques (such as quantitative MRI) for this purpose. She is also investigating the link between traumatic brain injury and subsequent risk of neurodegeneration and dementia. This is closely intertwined with her interest in methodological research including for example the handling of missing data and data harmonization.
